The focus of Secure Next Generation Resilient Systems Lab (SENTRY) is in the areas of Cybersecurity, Resilience, Cyber-Physical and Industrial Control Systems, Smart Grid, and Embedded Systems. We are always looking for postdocs, PhD and MS/PhD students, internship and visiting students (all are fully funded). The prospective candidates will work on the security of cyber-physical systems and embedded devices, operational challenges, computational innovation in power systems area, real-time simulation and modeling tools for utility networks, and cutting-edge technologies and techniques for the future cyber-physical systems. MS/PhD & PhD Positions
We are recruiting Graduate Students: If you have a BS degree, apply to the combined MS/PhD program. If you have an MS degree already, apply directly to the PhD program. Every admitted student earns the KAUST Fellowship, which grants them: Full Free Tuition Support, Monthly Living Allowance, On-Campus Housing, Medical and dental coverage, and Relocation Support. KAUST accepts students for entry in Fall (August) and Spring (January). However, most students start in the Fall. There are several application rounds throughout the year, and hence you can essentially apply at any time. Prof. Konstantinou can supervise students in the CS and ECE programs of the CEMSE division.

Desired Qualifications for students:
- First and foremost: strongly motivated and critical thinking.
- Have a degree (BS or MS) in Computer Science, Electrical or/and Computer Engineering, Applied Math, Cybersecurity or a closely related field (Minimum GPA is 3.5/4 or 83/100). Prof. Konstantinou has different topics for students with different backgrounds.
- Team working skill and high proficiency in written and speaking English (TOFEL IBT 79 or IELTS 6.0).
- Good programming skills (e.g., C/C++, Python, Matlab).
- Knowledge of computer security and electric power systems is a plus.
- Publication(s) is/are preferred but not required.
